Trading Policy

We are very picky in deciding which books to put on our shelves.  The books we sell are in almost perfect condition and that is the sort of books we trade for.  We have over half a million books, so there are some titles we do not currently need.  We normally need recent bestsellers and classics (like To Kill a Mockingbird).  If you have a book that was purchased in our store (still has our sticker on it) and it is in excellent condition, we will trade for it.

When we trade for books, we give you a trade credit good toward the purchase of any used books in our store.  We can’t trade new books or toys.

People often bring in books to donate to us and we always appreciate that.  Any books that we cannot use are donated to Children’s Hospital.  We donate several hundred books per month to them.
